An Expensive Lunch

Posted by Katie on Aug 17 2012 at 01:15 pm

Happy Friday!!!

Mine began with the following words:

“Holy F I cannot move!” (those who know me know I certainly did not say “F” but you can use your imagination ;) )

If you were reading about my Biggest Loser Cardio Max workout escapades yesterday, you will already know WHY I can’t move

Needless to say I slept in an extra hour as a result of my near paralysis…and going pee is especially fun today!!!

I ate breakfast at work today because I’ve been on a “breakfast at work” kick this week…Toast as per usual!

Dark Chocolate Dream natural peanut butter with banana and cinnamon and Bees Knees with All Natural Strawberry Jam! I can never decide what I want so I just have both!

My morning FLEW by which meant it was time for the hubster to take me out for the most expensive lunch I’ve ever taken part in!

The restaurant?

Canadian Tire.  Delicious!!

….OK we didn’t eat…But we did walk away with a vacuum cleaner that looks like it has the potential to make us breakfast in the morning-I will get back to you on that one  and a few cube-type wood storage units that we will build and create end tables out of out at the cottage!

After the most expensive lunch ever I went back to the office and actually ate lunch!

Spinach salad with leftover BBQ chicken boob, tomatoes, celery and carrots! With homemade greek dressing!

Well that takes me up to now in which I must go finish my work day!

Jeff will be working all weekend out of town so I will be at the cottage with my folks!  We are picking up IKEA cabinets from my uncle tomorrow morning…WHICH MEANS a kitchen cottage renovation will soon follow!

Jeff is taking the laptop for work so I will have the iPad and being that I am fairly illiterate when it comes to the iPad I am going to TRY to blog but will make no promises.

I sure hope I see you this weekend!

Wherever you are and whatever you’re doing, have a fantastic weekend dear friends!

No wonder you fell in love with Jefferson … so romantic. :) Have fun with Ma and Pa at the cottage this weekend. I’ll bet there’s Kamut blueberry pancakes in store for Sunday morning! Hope we can fit in another walk or tennis game soon, my fit friend.

There WERE kamut pancakes involved and they were fantastic! You know me well young grasshopper ;)

      Let’s get together soon indeed!

  2. Hope you had a great weekend and got a lot of work done at the cottage :)

Haha we had a great weekend but we DIDN’T get work done ;) I made 2 batches of strawberry jam, a perfect lasagna, amazing tacos and delectable pancakes…Does that count??
