Oh what a glorious and super busy long weekend!!

Truth be told I forgot my power cable for my laptop and as such my laptop died shortly after my “peaches” post on Saturday…Which is why I’ve been absent!

Friday, our branch manager decided to let me have the afternoon off and as a result Jeff and I ran around the city picking up box springs and packing up for a weekend at the cottage.

Saturday we (and by we I totally mean Jeff) installed an air conditioner…

And I made more strawberry jam!

Then we hit the road…

To attend the wedding of a friend of Jefferson’s!

A wedding is a wedding is a wedding in my opinion but it was nice to see them finally get hitched

It was “Christmas in August” for the Biss family on Sunday.

I made sundried tomato and parmesan devilled eggs as well as roasted red pepper devilled eggs:

And enjoyed a plate of salads, veggies and a few of my devilled eggs:

And I thoroughly enjoyed this berry tart slice and insane chocolate cake!

This morning I woke up, ran 5 km and walked 5km, stopped off to say hello to my uncle and aunt and went home to enjoy this!

After that I made granola:

And welcomed Karen and Aunty Cec to our cottage for the first time!

Then I made banana mini kamut muffins for Jeff’s lunches:

After that we packed up and headed home for another work week.

That takes me to now where I am trying to figure out what’s for supper!

I see an evening of True Blood and The Newsroom in my future.
