Let The Sun Shine
Happy Friday my dear friends
Today is the first day since Monday that we’ve seen the sun and let me tell you, I’m lovin’ it! (no ba-da-ba-ba-ba for this chickidee though
)
It’s been cool and rainy all week, so much so that we had to cover “the babies” last night out of fear of freezing! I sure hope they are ok!
I started my Friday with Leslie Sansone’s 3 Fast Miles. I was reluctant at first because I just wasn’t into it but I finished strong…Mostly because I knew I was having THIS for breakfast!
On the plate are two slices of Mack’s Flax toast with Bees Knees natural pb. On ONE slice I smooshed some suicidal raspberries to get a “pb & j” feel and on the other slice I piled on some banana slices. Both sprinkled with pixie dust CINNAMON of course!
ARE YOU SEEING THIS???
Jeff was intrigued by the raspberry toast but as soon as I told him it was raspberries it was as if I told him it was head cheese or something! How did I end up marrying such a freakazoid?
Verdict? I loved the smooshed raspberry and peanut butter combination! Just thinking about it made my mouth water just now.
I’ve lugged my running gear to work all week in hopes of running but have been shut down every single day due to the rain…Well NOT TODAY folks! I just returned from a 5km jaunt and am now sitting down to eat this!
And some green-age…
On the plate is a slice of asparagus, portabello mushroom and goat cheese pizza with kale chips!
And for dessert, a slice of whole grain banana bread infused with 99% dark chocolate chunks!

Well now I’m off to finish this work week.

I would do this last year with sliced strawberries, too! Such a great way to have a favourite, but use real fruit
