Sunrise, Sunset

What. A. Day.

We are pooped.

My day started just before 4:00 AM (yes, 4:00 AM) when I made dining reservations for our trip to Disney World in November!  Boo ya!  We got every reservation for every restaurant we wanted at every time we wanted!  It helps to be organized ;)

After that we ate breakfast…

Bees Knees peanut butter and banana flax toast!

After that, at about 7:00am it was time to get to work!

4 yards of soil was delivered…APPARENTLY my husband thought he was ordering enough soil to cover the White House’s yard.  We had WAY too much soil!!!

Far too many wheelbarrow loads later we headed out to Rona, Princess Auto, Costco (TWICE) and Home Depot!

Before we left though I had a quick snack which was a few spoonfuls of greek yogurt!

We were both starving about an hour into our shopping trip so we stopped at Subway for a crappy sub.  I say it was a crappy sub because it was a crappy sub.  Subway’s got nothin’ on QUIZNOS let me tell you right now

I had a veggie sub.  Mediocre at very best people.  Photo courtesy of crappy iPhone.

When we got home we got to work immediately for another 4 hours.

More wheel barrow loads, planting grass seed, filling our new planter boxes, hanging an address sign made for us last year, building platforms for planter boxes, painting platforms for planter boxes, laying mulch, more wheel barrow loads AND feeding the grass and “our babies.”

Well folks, it was ugly at times but we are still married and in love  It’s true what they say you know.  If you can make it through long days filled with renos, you can make it through just about anything.

After we showered away 9.5 hours of fifth it was time to BBQ some homemade thai chili turkey burgers.

I love that face more than I will ever be able to explain to you.

I ate half of this huge burger and some fries.  Other than that I didn’t have much of an appetite.  Perhaps too much sun.

That takes me to now.

I’m off to fill out a passport application!

It was a long, long day.

Goodnight.

I am a total loser. NO ONE gets up that early to make DINING RESERVATIONS for 6 MONTHS down the road. That’s bonkers!!!

I did sleep well. Like a rock!
