The Biss Bed & Breakfast

Happy Weekend everyone!

I hope yours is going very well!

Friday Jeff and I had a movie night!  We watched Crazy Stupid Love, The Change Up and The Exorcist!  Every year right before Halloween I convince both Jeff and I that watching the Exorcist would be a GENIUS idea.  Every year I remember AFTER watching the movie I realize just how wrong I was ;)

For supper I quickly prepped some turkey burgers!

Yesterday morning I met my girlfriend Janet for a chilly 10km walk!  Before I left the house I enjoyed some toast, almond butter, banana, honey and cinnamon!  And soy milk of course!

Jeff and I shared a turkey burger for lunch before heading to Lowe’s and Costco to pick up a few odds and ends (Christmas doodles).

For supper I made a roasted butternut squash whole wheat lasagna!  With garlic toast!

We enjoyed dinner while watching You’ve Got Mail and then half of Sleepless in Seattle…It was definitely a chick flick night!!

We were in bed by 8:30pm being the wild couple we are ;)

Jeff’s brother and a few friends are in town for a football game/Saturday night party and they crashed at our place last night!  As such I made breakfast for them this morning.

Love at First Bite Whole Wheat Pancakes, turkey bacon, turkey sausage and hash browns!

And here’s my plate!

I’m a pancake gal all the way…No hash browns, bacon or sausage for me!

A closeup!

Well now I must go…I am watching The Phantom of the Opera!

Then it is round 2 of raking leaves…It could snow any day!!

You mean you had Deviled eggs on toast…hahaha! All that food looks so delicious, and simply perfect for a fall weekend of vegging and watching movies – which you deserve after all your renos of late! I enjoyed ice cream and hot chocolate with the Devil Wears Prada last night. :)

  2. DUDE! I love this. great pancake pics. that is EXACTLY the breakfast I have before my long runs – some sort of toast with pb and banana, and cinnamon and honey usually. SO GOOD and it’s my favorite. :)
