This is going to be short and sweet because we are running out the door! Well Jeff is once again giving me the “Really?? Are you really posting on your blog at this very inopportune time??” look. Occupational hazard
Thank you everyone for your best wishes regarding my upcoming race on Sunday! I will let you know immediately how it goes! And by immediately I mean after I get home, shower, go out for lunch at Earl’s, return home AND collapse on the couch
Tomorrow I plan on spending some solid hours compiling the most ROCKIN’ IPod playlist I’ve ever seen/heard.
I’ve also decided I am going into this race with the mentality that I am just going to have fun. This. Is. It. All of the sweat, tears, port-a-potty hallucinations and finish line imagining have lead up to this very moment and it is going to ROCK! Sore knees and all this is going to be an epic moment in my history book!
I started my day with another grab and go breakfast…
This time it was a “use up the almost going bad food” type of breakfast…Muffin aside that is because it was as fresh as can be and dee-lish-us!
Sadly there was only about ½ of a cup of greek yogurt but I mixed that with a banana, a few blubes and a teaspoon of passionfruit, mango and pineapple jam. I was satisfied but it was no kale/spinach smoothie I will tell you that for darn sure!
Lunch today was a whole wheat pita cut in half and stuffed with spinach, sprouts, yellow pepper, cucumbers and salmon! On the side were more veggies and deliciously sweet and juicy orange!
Tonight we are going to go see the man, the myth, the legend!
Mr. Jerry Seinfeld himself!
If you have never been to a live comedian, you really need to look into it. We always complain about our cheeks hurting from laughing and smiling for HOURS straight. What’s better than that???
Well now we are off with my parents to Brewster’s where I plan on ordering some Pad Thai and maybe some lettuce wraps for an appetizer shared with mom. I love going out to eat with mom. I can actually order a neat appetizer and not be the only one to eat it! Dry ribs and wings really aren’t my thing…if you haven’t figured that out already
